A rights-based organisation rooted in Malawian communities since 2006.
Voices for Rights (VoFRi) is committed to promoting democratic governance, youth empowerment, gender equality, education and community development. We work with communities, young people, women, girls, local leaders and institutions to strengthen participation, accountability and access to opportunity.
A democratic, inclusive and equitable society where women, youth and children fully realise their rights, potential and opportunities for sustainable development.
To empower communities through advocacy, leadership development, education, human rights promotion and inclusive social programmes.
What guides our work
VoFRi uses a participatory and community-centred approach that prioritises inclusion, collaboration, sustainability and local ownership. We work closely with government institutions, development partners, schools, youth groups, traditional leaders and other civil society organisations.
